Our most filling tour, Taste Gloucester guests will make their way on foot through downtown Gloucester sampling food from five or six local vendors during this award winning foodie tour.
From delicious local chowder, bacon wrapped scallops, authentic Italian cannoli, to a sandwich that Gloucester natives have been enjoying for decades. This tour will expose you to local treats you’d be hard pressed to discover on your own.
Along the way, our dynamic tour guides will provide the backdrop to this 400-year-old city with great stories and interesting facts about the oldest working seaport in America. There will be no room for lunch after this tour as we make sure you leave “full” of knowledge!

Grab a drink, pull up a chair and listen to the tales of those brave men and women who have made their living off the fierce ocean that is the fishing grounds of the North Atlantic. Ales and Tales visits several local Gloucester watering holes where you are immersed in the harrowing tales of those that have gone down to the sea in ships.
The Scoop
In this fun tour we provide the tales you get your own ale (or other beverage). Local fishing Captains will thrill you with tales from fishing grounds on the open ocean. From wild storms to run ins with the Russians to rescue by the Coast Guard. This unique tour is a must if your visiting America’s oldest working seaport!

This 3-3.5-hour tour highlights the best of all things Gloucester. After an introduction to America’s Oldest Seaport by one of our knowledgeable tour guides, guests will depart for a unique tour of Gloucester Harbor. On this 1-1/4 hour cruise and demonstration, you’ll learn all about lobsters and lobstering. As part of your cruise, enjoy a narrated tour of historic Gloucester Harbor, including the famous fishing fleet, Ten Pound Island, Rocky Neck Art Colony, Norman’s Woe, and more. Here’s a chance to see some sights inaccessible from land. Back on land, you’ll get to enjoy a lobster roll and continue to see more of the city. Our last stop will be for a sweet treat in an authentic Italian bakery.
